About
“You can’t learn from remembering, you can’t learn from guessing. You can learn only from moving forward at the rate you are moved, as brightness, into brightness.”
Hello everyone, my name is Faith Chibugo Njoku.
My blogging started during my first year working in the nonprofit sector. After graduating from Rutgers Newark with a degree in Chemistry, I worked for
A Non-Profit with a
foundation rooted in changing the culture
of health using education as a strong medium for
activism and advocacy.
While pursuing an M.D. from UC Irvine School of Medicine, I co-founded and served as Director of Outreach for a nonpartisan initiative
Advocating for integrity and transparency in the process of global collaborations and exchanges.
I then received an opportunity to work for an organization with a mission to serve youth and young adults who survived a form of human trafficking.
That experience... The youth I had the chance to serve, have had a tremendous impact on me. I remember each of their names and faces and most importantly, their story. Anonymous Stories that will live in my heart and I will continue to treasure. If any of you find this blog, I send you my warmest well wishes, your strength inspires me on a daily basis. Thank you for teaching me and allowing me to experience life alongside you.
There is a beauty I now have the privilege to share with each and every one of you. One that represents, expresses and beckons the nature of resilience, courage and lasting impact. So much has happened and I love that I can share these experiences in writing with you. Enjoy this space, I open my heart to your journeying into the depth of what has made me, shaped me, loved me, broken me and rebuilt me.
Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope the light, love, teacher, student, and advocate in me helps you to create a space of understanding, empathy, compassion, curiosity, enlightenment, and inspiration.
With love,
Your Faith
